About the Project
“Itacen Mu” means “My Tree” in Hausa. It reflects a simple idea: that each tree planted belongs to someone — and that care and responsibility start at the individual level.
ItacenMu.org is a community-led tree 🌳 growing initiative across Africa. This platform serves as a simple monitoring tool for anyone involved in tree planting.
Planters can map where trees are planted, upload photos, and track progress over time as the trees grow. By documenting each location, we create a transparent and shared record of impact — helping communities learn, improve, and stay accountable.
